Is Vaping Cheaper than Smoking?
While vaping Mods were created by bunch of vaping enthusiast in the quest for a better solution for both cloud and flavor, yet when vaping became mainstream, the economical factor comes to play. Especially here at KloudyX, we are a crew who are on our way to quit smoking, we need to ask if vape is cheaper or more expensive than traditional cigarettes since this alternative to smoking might take longer than one would thought.
Though, here is the answer from two perspectives, YES, 1. vaping is cheaper for the volume of nicotine inside each disposable compared to cigarettes, 2. vaping is cheaper if you are a-pack a-day smoker like us at KloudyX. We have a simple calculation stated below and you can check:
A pack of cigarette is counted as 500-600 puffs in the vaping world.
A BOU Soft is 4500 puffs
A BOU Pro is 7000 puffs
A pack of cigs is about 7 USD, A BOU is about 22 USD.
A BOU equals about 8-10 packs of cigs.
That’s a bargain of 22 USD v.s. 60 USD
My own experience:
Here in California a pack a cig costs 7-10 USD, and lets say I smoke 2 packs per 3 days, that’s about 4 packs per week, so that my total spending on cigs about 35 USD/Week. Though I definitely go over 4 packs since you will need to share to other people if they come asking.
As for my own experience, I used 4500 puffs -7000 puffs disposable per-week, depending on how much parties are there, yet i rarely go over 7000 puffs per week. A BOU Pro or Soft is enough to solve my nicotine needs, and the price come to a total of 23 USD/Week.
In conclusion, from both math level and personal level, you can see that vaping is cheaper than traditional cigarettes. As for my view, vape is not only cheaper but less odor for my surroundings. In the end, vape is not only cheaper but more convenient in any sort of factors. We will discuss about the health factor in another blog coming soon.
