This is the first blog in March and I would like to have this space to discuss how dangerous it is from a couple of points: 1. Vapes vs. Cigs 2—Legit Vape vs. Fake Vape.
Vaping v.s smoking
As you might have seen many videos on YouTube about the upsides and the downsides of both recreational products, you might not have a clear picture of the truth, and I will uncover the myth of this today by using research done in official organizations. According to the Department of Health and Social Care in the UK article:
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/nicotine-vaping-in-england-2022-evidence-update
You could see that they did not find a truly harmful material in the vape that came through the certification process. They have marked that nicotine only grows one’s addiction not technically “hurting” your organs.
On the other hand, the thousands of chemicals from burning are harmful for obvious reasons. As for me, I have tried a couple of cigs in the past few days for the first time in a year. My left chest hurt every time I inhaled, I was not sure whether it was my heart or lungs, so I quickly threw it away and continued to vape, then everything felt normal immediately
Ok, Moving on to the second part, fake vs legit.
To start, there is not much of a difference in technology between different vaping brands. It’s a simple addition to make a disposable vape: cotton+oil+battery+coil+case. So that when one releases a new vape model, others can quickly duplicate it. However, the difference and harmful chemicals come from the parts that you might not expect: 1. cotton 2. plastic box. We do not have a technical review about how cotton might change state with the change of temperature, yet we know that the quality of cotton matters in the stability of the oil.
Moving onto the plastic box, the fake ones might use either recycled plastic or other cheaper plastics to hold the different compartments inside, so what’s harmful? With unqualified plastics, there might be formaldehyde within the plastic, and formaldehyde is an extremely dangerous chemical that causes death.
At KloudyX, we vape on BOU on ourselves too, and why? We have gone to the factory in Shenzhen and saw the production line ourselves since we vape up to 3 disposables a week, so we had to make sure that we are providing the best quality vapes for our audience and our families.
